Page turner
If your bookshelf is over-crowded but you just can’t resist buying her the latest page-turner, an e-book is both a practical and novel solution! Surprise her with something old yet new this Christmas with an Amazon Kindle, or the newest on the market, the Barnes & Noble Nook.
Kindle vs. Nook
The difference between the two wireless reading devices is that the Nook, which retails around $139, has a touch screen, whereas the Kindle (also around $139) does not. Both screens are 6 inches, but if you want to go all out, the Nook Color has a 7 inch screen and costs $249. Rumor has it there will be a Kindle color version released closer to Christmastime. Two major pluses the Kindle has are its exceptional direct sunlight viewing and one-handed reading capabilities due to the side button design.
